You have to pay or earn for all the items you get for the drunkard, sweet tooth, etc.
Besides, I BOUGHT every single one of my Capture Signets for my Legendary Skill Hunter.
Also, for the profession thing, no. If any changes, make it so Capture Signets are items instead, but only one can be used until you portal or return back to an outpost. If you capture an elite, a thing appears in the status effect bars that cannot be removed, that won't allow you to capture another elite. This is so that those people who forget capture signets can still capture the skill, even when they work for it, and forget it out of pure hastiness.
I captured over 70 elites in two days with the current system.

To get the title Elite Skill Hunter, you have to have every single elite skill in the game. And yo only get 2 free cap sigs (one for the quest, a second one for finishing it). The rest you all have to buy, most likely at 1k each. Now I realize it's only 1k, but in the long run, it adds up to be over 100k to get all skills. So my idea is to have another way to get cap sigs. My thought was a repeatable quest, like the Kurzick and Luxon scout ones. It would save us so much money in the long run and make it easier for us to achieve our title.
Speaking of cap sigs, you can only equip up to so many. That's fine, but in order for them to work, you have to be standing next to a dead boss of your corresponding profession (primary or secondary). My second idea is this:
Let the cap sig work for any profession that you have obtained (for instance, if you haven't unlocked R/A, you can't cap a sin skill, but if you are currently a R/Rt but have unlocked R/W, you can cap either one). That way you don't have to keep going back and forth (especially for skills that can only be capped in missions).

so then youre gonna give me the 200k or whatever it was that spent on my cap sigs to get the title about a year ago?

Excuse me, I don't appreciate that. /reported
I didn't say I couldn't do it, I was merely making a suggestion for people and to get different opinions. If you don't like it, don't read it. You don't have to be uncivil about it.

I'm glad you have lots of money to spare to get titles and such, but not all of us do. Like I said, it was merely a suggestion.

Earning the 1K to get a signet of capture is a rather small feat, which is easily accomplished. The titles are not meant to be something you can easily achieve.
The only suggestion I could get behind would be to be able to use things like Battle commendations/Trade contracts/Etc to buy them. Seeing as you can get a superior salvage kit for 5, which is about 1K in value, I'd say make it cost 5 of those as well.

Not signed on 1st count, I am close to legendary skill hunter and unless they give me a refund :P For all that I've spent, I don't think sigs should be free.
Signed on count 2, it gets annoying when you have to do the same mission 7 times for all the elites.

Then either.
A) Earn the money.
B) Quit complaining and get a "free" title instead.

Thats why you earn the money. I don't have the money to buy most elite armor right now but does that there should be a quest thats reward is 15k armor? No. It means I have to go out and farm, do quests, ect. until I get enough money to buy it.
